EPSHRM, CASFV Help Families with Mock Interviews

The El Paso Society of Human
Resources has partnered with the Center Against Sexual & Family Violence to
help create mock interviews for the individuals that are part of CASFV.
During the month of April, EPSHRM had a one-day workshop on mock
interviews. We had industry HR professionals visit the center and help
provide mock interviews to the women and men of CASFV.
With many of these
families already struggling with the casualties of physical and mental abuse,
preparing for a job interview is usually the last thing they consider.
Many of our industry HR professionals sat with the CASFV participants and help
create mock interviews for them. It helped them practice interview
technique, review resumes, and go over do's and don'ts of proper interview
attire.
EPSHRM will continue the relationship with CASFV and have these
mock interviews on a bi-annual basis.
