It’s Time to Nominate Your Texas Volunteer Leader of the Year
Volunteerism is what makes our Texas chapters a sustainable success, and a nomination for the Texas Volunteer Leader of the Year Award recognizes that individual who shines in your chapter, the person who goes above and beyond, the person who makes things happen. If a deserving individual springs to mind when reading this description, then we encourage you to nominate them today!
Requirements for submissions are as follows:
- Nominee must be an active SHRM affiliated chapter board member or Texas SHRM board member.
- Nominee must consistently and significantly contribute to the chapter or Texas SHRM and volunteer his or her services time-after-time to the service of the chapter or Texas SHRM.
- Nominee must have an outstanding record of participation in the chapter or council.
- Active dedication and enthusiasm demonstrated by an unparalleled commitment to the advancement of the HR profession through hours of volunteerism.
The Texas Volunteer Leader of the Year Award recipient will receive: a donation in their name for a student sponsorship to The HRSouthwest Conference; a full HRSWC registration and up to three nights lodging; a personalized plaque that will be presented on stage during a Conference general session; and recognition on the HRSWC website.
Any SHRM affiliated chapter member may submit a nominee using the Award Nomination Form. All forms must be submitted to info@hrsouthwest.com by September 4, 2015, with results announced no later than Septe,ber 11, 2015. Current HRSWC board members are not eligible for this award.
