Speaker: Brigadier General Robert (Bob) D. LaBrutta
In this session, we will learn about the military’s role here in San Antonio. General LaBrutta will discuss the economic impact that Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) has in the San Antonio region and across the state of Texas. We will hear about the effect of sequestration and how JBSA is partnering with public/private entities to mitigate the impacts. We will also learn how our military members can be transitioned into the civilian sector and the benefits of hiring vets.
