SHRM at Texas A&M San Antonio: Growing the HR Profession

Our student SHRM chapters are not always in the limelight, but this month we would like to brag a bit about the leadership of SHRM at Texas A&M San Antonio.
This chapter was founded by Adrian B. Guardia Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, SPHR and former President of San Antonio Human Resource Management Association (SAHRMA). Through his inspiring leadership Dr. Guardia is able to rally college students around everything HR. Together, they create quality HR programming for students, alumni, and the community. In addition, they volunteer their time to support various community service projects.
If you subscribe to their newsletter and/or join their meetings, you would be excited to know the future of HR is bright. It takes only one seed to grow something, and Dr. Guardia has demonstrated how each of us can grow the HR profession in our community.
