As we wrap up the 1st quarter of 2016, here’s a brief Membership Update:
Updated SHRM Volunteer Leader Resource Center (VLRC)
If you haven’t already visited the VLRC this year, you should! There is a new site currently in progress that already contains helpful information for Volunteer Leaders in the areas of Membership. You will find many samples of letters, metrics and presentations separated by topics including Chapter Acquisition, Chapter Engagement + Retention, Marketing Best Practices, Membership Plans, Metrics & Calculators and Promote SHRM Membership.
SHRM is working for you, the Volunteer Leader, to assist with membership marketing and idea sharing! Use the tools available to grow your membership numbers in 2016.
Great Things Happening in Texoma HRMA (THRMA)
The Texoma HRMA has grown their membership by over 50% in just a few months! Karla Shugart, 2016 Membership Director, has worked diligently to ensure that all paperwork was completed and their members were active and counted. As of February 2016, THRMA had 37 members (up from 24 in November 2015 according to SHRM counts) with 84% of those being SHRM members! "THRMA is rockin’ and rollin’ in 2016," according to Tamra Bragg, THRMA.
