Events You Won’t Want to Miss

The "Dog days of summer," the hottest and steamiest time of the year, actually has nothing to do with our beloved canine friends; rather it refers to an ancient Greek phrase around the dog star, Sirius, and its position in the heavens. But today we think of it as a slower moving, less productive time.
