PBSHRM Congratulates Recent Member Certifications

Congratulations on two of Permian Basin SHRM members' recent Certification: Sharla McDaniel, SHRM-CP and Juan Carlos Bustamante, SHRM- CP. The PBSHRM members are so proud of you for setting your sights high, and making every effort to achieve that goal!

Doing all that extra work while continuing in your full-time position was extremely ambitious, and took a lot of effort and dedication on your part. They worked hard and proved to themselves and everyone what they are capable of. We know your achievement will make a positive difference in your career path!

Juan Carlos Bustamante, SHRM-CP- I would recommend the SHRM E-learning system to anyone interested in obtaining their certification. The information in the series of modules is practical and quite informative. The various ways of learning from online interactive testing, to case studies, and flash cards were quite beneficial. I would highly recommend this one-stop comprehensive approach to real world application. 

Sharla McDaniel, SHRM-CP- I found the local (PBSHRM) class very helpful as we discussed the material, discussion questions, and progress checks. Perhaps most important, the class kept me accountable for progressing through the Learning System. The Learning System itself provides a tremendous amount of information and makes a great reference tool.

 

My advice for others considering testing would be to sign up for the SHRM Learning System and definitely take the class. I would allow at least a semester to work through the material the first time, and then a couple of weeks for a thorough review prior to my actual test date.
