Big News for SHRM Foundation

Greetings from your Texas SHRM Foundation Chairs,

 

The SHRM Foundation is celebrating its 50th year! Thanks to all of you and your efforts, the contributions to the foundation are getting noticed not just in Texas, but across the nation —we are currently in 7th place for foundation dollars raised this year! I know we are competitive and we won't stop there. Plus, think about the impact these funds can have on HR professionals in our chapters. According to SHRM, the Foundation helps support over 200 HR professionals and students and awards more than $295,000 in scholarship dollars. I hope the materials and fundraising ideas shared at the May meeting in El Paso were helpful to you and your chapter. If you were not able to attend, feel free to reach out to us and we can share information. We are always looking for ways to help you achieve your foundation goals.
