SHRM Offers Competency Based Education for Chapters

The Volunteer Leaders Resource Center (VLRC) website continues to be revamped and improved! Go to https://community.shrm.org/vlrc/home to check it out!
One of the recent improvements includes a series of multi-media presentations designed for chapters to use as educational tools and/or programming which focuses on the SHRM Competency Model.
The first in the series is entitled: "Five Habits of Destructive HR Leaders:"
Habit 1: The Deadliest Habit: Failure to Listen
Habit 2: The No One Has Ideas Like Me Habit
Habit 3: The Yeah...But Habit
Habit 4: The Textbook is Always Right Habit
Habit 5: The You Won’t Believe This Habit
In addition to videos, each portion of the series includes instructor materials, student materials and PowerPoint presentations.
