The Texas State Council Board would like to make you aware of some issues that are developing between the SHRM Board of Directors and a group of SHRM members who call themselves the SHRM Members for Transparency ("Transparency Group").

The Texas State Council is not endorsing one group over another, but we want to make all SHRM members aware of the situation. As a SHRM member, each individual can choose a personal way to respond based on their opinion of the issues.

The Transparency Group is concerned about several decisions the SHRM Board has made in regard to operations and expenditures of the Society. Included below are two links that provide information regarding the issues in question. One is a link to the Transparency Group website. The other is a link to the response SHRM has made to the concerns of the Transparency Group. If you have questions regarding the information provided there are individuals you can contact from both sides. You can also email the TSC directly, and we will try to provide you with any additional information you request. texasshrm@gmail.com
