In February the BAHRMA (Bay Area Houston) chapter completed a government affairs project in partnership with SHRM. Our members, and even some of their staff members, helped us by writing letters to Texas Senators and our local Congress Representative focused on keeping the current pre-tax retirement savings plans. On March 8th, at our annual conference, BAHRMA will be conducting a Dress for Success "SOS" suit drive that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women, and helps them thrive in work and in life.
