Members of the Brazos Valley Society for Human Resource Managers partnered with the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce to provide resumes review for job seekers attending the annual BCS Chamber Job Fair on Tuesday, April 16.  Over 450 people attended the Job Fair held at the Hilton College Station this year, and over 45 area companies were present.

The BV-SHRM members were positioned at the entrance of the fair to remind attendees to visit their resume review booth for a chance to chat with experienced Human Resource professionals and Recruiters about everything from formatting their resume to ensuring that their experience and career goals were well-defined and easily understood on their resume.  Dedicated one-on-one time was spent with every job seeker who attended the BV-SHRM booth.

"I have attended many job fairs before and this was the first time someone took the time to critique and correct my resume, as well as provide me helpful information for making my resume get to the top of the stack.  I truly appreciate their time and tips," stated one attendee.

"BV-SHRM has participated in this event for over five years, and we look forward to many more," BV-SHRM President Geanna Kincanon said. "Our members enjoy the opportunity to offer their knowledge and expertise to assist our friends and neighbors in the community."
