The North Texas Chapter of SHRM will assist Denton's MHMR Holiday Helping Hands program by donating non-perishable food items to their food pantry. Many of their clients are homeless and need a helping hand. The Chapter will accept donations at their monthly meeting on November 21 and will deliver them immediately after the meeting. MHMR will accept community-wide donations until December 9 at their Scripture St. Center. They also need gently used clothing and new or gently used toys. The Holiday Social for the North Texas Chapter of SHRM will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Denton Country Club from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Go to www.northtexasshrm.org to register and pay for the luncheon. Please help Santa provide a new toy for a little girl or boy. Bring an unwrapped toy to the holiday social.
