Calling All Texas Chapters: It’s Time to Nominate Your Texas Volunteer Leader of the Year

Volunteerism is what makes our Texas chapters a sustainable success, and a nomination for the Texas Volunteer Leader of the Year Award recognizes that individual who shines in your chapter, the person who goes above and beyond, the person who makes things happen. If a deserving individual springs to mind when reading this description, then we encourage you to nominate them today!

Requirements for submissions are as follows:
The Texas Volunteer Leader of the Year Award recipient will receive: a donation in their name for a student sponsorship to The HRSouthwest Conference ("HRSWC"); a full HRSWC registration and up to three nights lodging; a personalized plaque, which will be presented on stage during a Conference General Session (during which all nominees will be announced); and recognition on the HRSWC website.

Any Texas SHRM affiliated chapter member may submit a nominee using the Award Nomination Form. All forms must be submitted to info@hrsouthwest.com by July 30, 2014, with results announced no later than Aug. 8.

The HRSouthwest Conference, the official SHRM conference for the State of Texas, is the largest regional HR conference in the United States. HRSWC will take place Oct. 5 – 8 in Fort Worth. For more details, visit hrsouthwest.com.
