#AdvancingHR

We all know social media has revolutionized the way in which people connect, collaborate and build relationships. DallasHR is always known for our sheer dedication in advancing and connecting the regional ?#?HR community!

In order to further our vision, DallasHR's President Lynne Stewart decided to kick off our social media initiatives this year by opening up a whole new way for our regional HR community to communicate, share information and come together.

We started the social media initiative by successfully conducting a social media workshop to train and educate our leadership team on how to use social media and how to represent DallasHR's brand on social media.

To celebrate HR, we launched our first ever #AdvancingHR campaign in the month of June. The goal of the campaign was to spotlight our members, non-members and leadership team by sharing valuable tips and thoughts on advancing HR through our social media platforms. We targeted to share 'one tip - one visual' every day highlighting the No. 1 tip from HR thought leaders throughout the month of June. You can find the entire album on our Facebook page.

The campaign wrapped up with a power-blast Tweet-A-Thon,  #AdvancingHR on June 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. We had over 100 HR professionals join our Twitter conversation from across the world, sharing valuable insights on how to advance HR. We had a great response and generated over 615 tweets.

We were so honored to have participants join including DallasHR members and BODs, TexasSHRM, SHRM bloggers, and HR thought leaders from Canada, London, India, Australia and the U.S., who made it look like it was a global HR meet-up.
