• Hill Country HR Management Association – SUPERSTAR with 73.91% growth

 

The South Texas SHRM Chapter held a membership drive on May 19. They advertised the event using various communication, including a SHRM e-blast, posting to Facebook and in the local newspaper. Chapter members were invited and encouraged to bring a guest, for a free SHRM prize!

 

The Chapter provided appetizers and a drink ticket to all attendees. There was a short presentation by the Board about the benefits of SHRM membership and upcoming Chapter events. The Board also introduced themselves and their positions. In addition, a raffle took place to benefit the SHRM Foundation!

 

As a direct result of this Membership Mixer, South Texas SHRM gained five new members (that’s a 12.5% increase)!
