The Fort Worth HR Management Association recently hosted a "Summer School" event on FLSA Compliance. With the new overtime regulations, we wanted to make sure our members were aware of what is required in order to make sure that their organization is compliant.
The half-day seminar featured a combination of attorneys and HR Practitioners who shared with the group how to complete the assessment process to determine exempt/non-exempt status. We also explored different approaches and best practices for communicating and implementing the changes that will result from the new regulations.
