Have you visited the new SHRM website lately?  Or better yet, have you visited the new Volunteer Leader Resource Center?  If not, check it out here https://community.shrm.org/vlrc/home.  The new VLRC has a tab solely dedicated to Membership resources including Acquisition, Engagement and Marketing.  There are samples and templates for communication, charts and other helpful resources.  

Now that we are in the 3rd quarter of the year, it is a good time to start preparation for renewals or maybe a year-end membership drive for your chapter.  As summer ends and another school year begins, it may be a good time for your chapter to host a membership mixer for a targeted audience – at-large members, past members, etc.
