It is been a busy month for Texas SHRM. As Mardi Gras began in Galveston, Texas SHRM members met for a day and a half of sharing and learning from one another and from experts in their field. We discussed how to maximize our offerings for our respective chapter members as well as SHRM members at large, identified the changing environment in association purposes and volunteer participation, and how to best demonstrate to the business community all that a top-quality HR department, and HR professional, can offer. The 75 individuals present will surely take back the ideas and suggestions learned to their respective organizations, and we look to see numerous outcomes as a result in the coming months.
