It’s still hard to believe that two years ago, we had to cancel the annual conference. It’s amazing how far we have come and how many IT projects were rapidly deployed to accommodate the new normal.

The time has finally come! The 2022 TAGITM Annual Conference will take place April 26-29 in Galveston. This is an in-person event and registration is open. Please register for the event and reserve your room. Visit our website at www.tagitm.org for details. If you’re like most of us, take a break from ARPA project implementations that went to other internal departments instead of IT, and come to the conference. I’m not bitter!

We will have several sessions on cybersecurity improvements, infrastructure, community broadband, data protect, Texas DIR Cybersecurity offerings, and a tabletop cybersecurity exercise.

Hope to see many of you at the conference -- those that were unable to attend the 2021 annual conference as well as new members.
