Reflections On a Challenging Term as TAPPA President

Thank you for confirming we are a vibrant and dynamic group, as we are all experiencing even more demands on our facilities and our staff than we thought possible. But your leadership, dedication and experience will help your team make it through these very difficult times. Thank you to our members and Business Partners for your continued support of TAPPA. Without the support from you, TAPPA would not be the strong and vibrant organization it continues to be.

The next years are promising as Shorty Schwartz takes over the Board Presidency at the end of this year’s conference. I am certain that Shorty and our TAPPA team will lead us back to another highly anticipated in-person conference in 2022 in Houston. A final thank you from me to the Board for all their work this year and a thank you and hats off to our partners at CMP Management who have herded the cats on this Board to keep us moving forward –Thank you!

The last two years of COVID and storms have raised interest in Facility Management across the state and nation. I challenge you to keep building the professionalism of our members and build upon the successes and lessons learned of these last two historic years.

Dave
