A Message from the President

Hello TAPPA,

By now, most of us facility managers have had a chance to take care of those pesky over-looked items we meant to get to prior to the return of our students, hopefully. I hope you are all getting your fill of the best football in the nation, college football! Hopefully your team is off to a great start.

I want to inform everyone that in October, TAPPA will have our “Call for Abstracts” for our 2023 Conference in Denton, TX. So be getting your thoughts together and submit them early for consideration. More details will be coming out in the next couple of months.

I also want to remind everyone of our awards program. There are three different areas of recognition for someone within your organization or even a special business partner. The three categories are:

Stars Across Texas Award

Also of great importance, Texas State University, San Marcos will be hosting a Supervisor’s Toolkit on Nov. 14-17. To register, click here. It will be a great workshop, so be sure to sign up. The Toolkit has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the facilities management professional. Note that this is more of a development process than an instructional program.
