This month we recognize Patrick Carley, PE, who joined TAPPA in 2022. Pat served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years, retiring as a Colonel in 2021. His assignments brought him to all four time zones in the U.S., Portugal, Germany, and multiple deployments to the Middle East Region. He served at the Pentagon, the State Department’s U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and finished his career as the Air Base Wing and Installation Commander at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. Pat started at Baylor University in November 2021 where he’s the Associate Vice President for Facilities and Operations. He joined TAPPA in 2022 and attended the April conference. “I appreciate the connections made and lessons learned at the conference,” Pat said. “I look forward to the next conference in Denton and bringing back more ideas, potential solutions and connections to Baylor.”
