TAPPA Board Introduction

The TAPPA Board of Directors is a cross section of our Association’s membership, including business partners and facility managers. Our bylaws state, “that The Board of Directors (also referred to as the Board) shall be composed of twelve members: six duly elected members (directors), two duly elected business partners, plus the President, the Vice President, the Secretary-Treasurer, and the Immediate Past President.” These volunteers are here to represent the membership, so please reach out to them if you have questions or suggestions.   • President: Chad Crocker, Assistant Vice President for Facility Services, Baylor University

  • Vice President: Sean Childers, Associate Vice President Operations, Texas Tech University

  • Past President: William “Shorty” Schwartz, CMII Facilities Operations, Texas State University – Round Rock

  • Treasurer/Secretary: Terry Pritchett, Senior Vice President of Facilities, Campus Services, Texas State Technical College

  • Director: Magda Alanis Brady, Assistant Vice President, Facilities Business Operations and Compliance (FBOC), University of Houston

  • Director: John Burke, Director of Facilities Blinn College District

  • Director: J.C. Colmenero, Director of Physical Plant and Facilities, Coastal Bend College

  • Director: Luis de la Garza, Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance Services, South Texas College

  • Director: Tom Shewan, Director of Engineering Services for the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
