It is time to begin working on your award applications and plan to submit your nominations for the 2022 TAPPA Awards. The application deadline for TAPPA award nominations is Tuesday, February 15, 2022 no later than Noon CST.

The Committee will review all award applications and the Winners will be recognized at the TAPPA Annual Conference which will be held April 24- 26, 2022. Consider applying or nominate a worthy individual today!

Business Partner Distinguished Service Award
The purpose of the Business Partner Distinguished Service Award is to honor a member of TAPPA who has served as a consistent and exemplary volunteer supporting the mission of TAPPA.

Facilities Management Distinguished Service Award
The Facilities Management Distinguished Service award is presented to a Facility Manager who promotes education and other professional activities through serving as a role model and mentor.

Stars Across Texas Award
The TAPPA Stars Across Texas Award is designed to recognize and advance excellence in the field of educational facilities with providing the Facility Managers the opportunity for national recognition for their outstanding achievements in facilities management.

The TAPPA Board of Directors would like to recognize and get to know our current members better. The depth of knowledge within this group is something that we should all be proud of. The disruptions to the global supply chain caused by factory shutdowns in Asia, congestion at U.S. ports, and a nationwide labor shortage are starting to negatively affect more than microchips and building materials. Offices and universities are reporting shortages in everyday office supplies, including printer ink, toner and light bulbs. (Times of San Diego)
