TAPPA News and Updates

Hello,

We are in the home stretch leading up to this year’s in-person conference in Spring, Texas on April 24-26. I don’t know about y’all, but I’m really looking forward to it, to re-acquaint with friends and colleagues. The Board has confirmed our keynote speakers, and the final touches to their presentations are coming together well!

Just a few quick reminders. If you haven’t already registered, please do so today at https://tappa.net/event/2022registration.

Also, for those who haven’t, do not forget to register for the Top Golf event, taking place on Sunday, 4/24, at 10:00 am.

After Top Golf on Sunday, we’re getting things started early. We are offering three break-out sessions, including topics on warehousing, microgrids and working with aging campuses. We’ll also have the first-time attendee orientation and the President’s reception, a must attend event! Also, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that a tour is planned on Tuesday for our host institution, the University of Houston, main campus.

Don’t forget that you’ll be able to visit with our business partners that will support your ongoing projects within your institutions.

Wm. Shorty Schwartz, Jr.
TAPPA President

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

The TAPPA Board of Directors would like to recognize and get to know our current members better. The depth of knowledge within this group is something that we should all be proud of. As a board, we feel that we can all learn something from each other, but that this can only be done if we share a little bit about ourselves. In an effort to get to know each other better, we have created the "Member Spotlight" where a TAPPA member will be spotlighted through our monthly TAPPA Newsletter. This is our chance to highlight you and your success to others in this industry. We are proud of our members and would be honored if you would participate.

If you are interested in participating in the TAPPA Member Spotlight or would like to nominate someone, please fill out this interest form.
