As the Director of Engineering Services for the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Tom is responsible for capital, project, and operational engineering support for the more than 24,000 clinical, research, and professional staff along with more than 16,000,000 square feet of built environment. UT MDACC is currently the number one cancer center in the United States and is firmly committed to “Making Cancer History.” Tom is no stranger to the TAPPA Community as he’s a long-time board member and has served the community at both Texas State University and M.D. Anderson. When not at work, Tom enjoys golf, scuba diving, bowling, sporting clays, and family activities.
As the Director of Business Development for AHI Facility Services, Ric prides himself on providing cost-effective, integrated facility services to higher education institutions while providing their employees and visitors a clean environment in which to work and visit. His expertise also extends to offering restoration services throughout Oklahoma and Texas.
Ric has been an integral part of the APPA community, actively participating since 2009. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an ability to solve problems and co-author solutions for his clients. His unwavering dedication and commitment have earned him the trust and respect of both colleagues and clients alike. Ric's true passion lies in building lasting relationships. He finds immense joy in working closely with clients and forming lifelong friendships along the way. This strong connection with his clients is what sets him apart and makes him an invaluable asset to any business partnership.
Outside of work, Ric cherishes his time with his family and actively engages in church activities. He is also a fervent supporter of OSU football, often attending games to cheer on the Cowboys. In his free time, you can find Ric outdoors, indulging in activities like hiking, camping, and pickleball.
