2024 TAPPA Annual Conference 

The TAPPA 2024 Conference is right around the corner on April 7-9 in San Marcos.  Don’t miss the opportunity to collaborate with other facility managers, project managers, designers, technicians, and business partners.  This is your opportunity to learn from others who are facing the same challenges and opportunities you are.  Full conference and one-day registrations are available for facility managers. Sponsorships are still available for Business Partners.  This is shaping up to be another record-breaking attendance year for TAPPA.

TAPPA Award Nominations are now being accepted. With the annual conference rapidly approaching, it is time to nominate your staff or other facility managers as well as business partners for TAPPA Annual Awards.  It only takes minutes to nominate your superstars.

TAPPA Listserv is your opportunity to share lessons learned or ask questions of your peers across the Texas Higher Education community.  If you have not signed up for the Listserv, we want to invite you to opt in to the TAPPA Listserv today. All current TAPPA members, including our business partners, are eligible to opt in.
Proposed bylaws amendments have been approved by the TAPPA Board of Directors for a vote of the membership. The amended bylaws are proposed to go into effect following the 30 day notice period to the membership. Pending no contrary feedback, the bylaws will go into effect following the Annual Business Meeting on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Annual Conference in San Marcos, TX. Should you have any concerns or feedback for the Board of Directors to consider please email your comments to info@tappa.net. Marcus Bliss serves as the Assistant Director of Operations at Projectmates, the award-winning enterprise construction program management software company. With over a decade of experience, he has played a pivotal role in helping numerous institutions of higher learning streamline their construction programs. Notably, he oversaw the successful implementation of Projectmates at TAPPA member Tarrant County College District.  Marcus has been actively engaged with TAPPA since 2016, participating as both an exhibitor and a speaker. Committed to enhancing his industry knowledge, he recently obtained certification as a construction manager in training.

Reflecting on his involvement with TAPPA, Bliss commends the organization for its professionalism, expertise, and collaborative spirit. “The wealth of knowledge, the network of industry leaders, and the commitment to staying ahead of industry advancements makes TAPPA a premier organization,” said Bliss. “Our team is looking forward to reconnecting with members at the upcoming annual conference in San Marcos, and showing how Projectmates software simplifies education construction projects.”
