TAPPA is pleased to have Luis E. de la Garza as our newest Board Member. Luis joins the Board as a member with over 20 years of involvement in facilities management. He has worked for the past 14 years at South Texas College, where he is the Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance Services within the Facilities Operations and Maintenance Department. He has been a TAPPA member since 2012. As a frequent attendee of TAPPA conferences, he is a strong proponent of continuing education on facility management practices. When asked what he envisions for TAPPA in the future, Luis said, “I hope to see TAPPA continue to grow its outreach and provide even more opportunities for education and collaboration for facility managers across Texas.”

  

Craig and LMC Corporation are no strangers to the TAPPA community. With scores of clients in the higher education market and several years of attending TAPPA conferences, Craig and LMC are in tune with their customers. Craig has over nine years of experience at LMC Corporation and has advanced from a senior project supervisor to a director to a vice president of construction, managing multiple projects across various sectors. At LMC, a leading construction management and general contracting services provider, Craig oversees the planning, estimation, execution, and delivery of high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions to our clients. Craig is a certified JOC professional and an OSHA 30 certified safety expert. He ensures that LMC follows the best practices and standards in the industry while also creating sustainable and innovative spaces that enhance the lives of the communities they serve. When asked about his connections with TAPPA, Craig says, “I am passionate about leading and empowering a team of talented and diverse professionals who share the values of collaboration, integrity, and excellence that the TAPPA community embodies.”
