NAPA Legislative Update - Highway Extension Sent to President

Earlier today, the House passed by a vote of 266-158 fa 90-day highway extension bill to avert a shutdown of key federal transportation programs.

The bill, H.T. 4281, then headed to the Senate. Majority Leader Reid asked for unanimous consent to approve the House-passed bill. After some discussion the measure was approved unanimously. President Obama will sign into law.
