Tyler District PIQ Meeting

January 9, 2018 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM

During the month of January TXAPA will facilitate two Partners in Quality meetings. The first, in Tyler, Texas on January 9. Glenn Green, TxDOT District Engineer along with Shane Cunningham, TxDOT Director of Construction will be in attendance along with area engineers, key district personnel, and industry leaders.

Tentative Agenda:

• Work Zone Safety: 2017 Traffic Control Review
• Joint Construction: Discussion of best practices and a review of last month’s webinar
• Tack Coat: Discussion of best practices with information provided by Robert Lee and TxDOT’s Construction Division, Flexible Pavements Branch.
• Debrief: A debrief of the 2017 paving season. What went right? What went wrong? Why?
