The 43rd TXAPA Annual Meeting is scheduled for September 19-23, 2017 at the La Torretta Resort in Montgomery, Texas.
We are looking forward to an exciting, fun and informative annual meeting.
As of today, we have held 18 meetings throughout the state. Interesting topics that have been discussed are work zone safety, quality placement of asphalt, and the need for training and education. Several districts, with the contractors in agreement, have expressed concerns over new hires. Training and education is a reoccurring topic for both the contractor and the State. Openness in communication is the key with all our discussions, so please plan on attending and participating in the

Spreading the word about asphalt pavement mix types and their proper uses continues to be a popular activity for TXAPA. Recently, Chuck Fuller and Harold Mullen were on the road with our engineering partners at CobbFendley to discuss the latest technology and the many mix types

TXAPA will host several webinars in the upcoming months. Two webinars are scheduled for June and July. The first webinar will be June 22 — Texas Asphalt Pavement Mix Types and will be hosted by Chuck Fuller and Larry Welch.The second webinar will be held July 20 — Successful Pre-Paving Meetings hosted by Chuck Fuller.
