Inspector Asphalt Education
Join Jim Warren for a series of virtual, interactive workshops designed to deliver essential, yet practical information to personnel working at every level on asphalt pavement projects, from design to construction. Classes are virtual only and meet twice a week, 8–10:30am.
May 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19 (Registration Open) June 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 (Registration Open) July 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28 (Registration Open) August 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25 Engineer Asphalt Essentials
This course is recommended for TxDOT District, Materials, Design, Construction, and Maintenance Engineers, and CE&I Firms. Target audience is 0-5 year EIT’s and PE’s but all will benefit. Participants will better understand the interrelationship between Materials, Design, Construction, and Maintenance with an emphasis on what the Engineer really needs to know about each area to ensure high-quality asphalt pavements are designed, built, and maintained. Classes are virtual only and meet twice a week, 9am–12pm.

Technically Speaking
The TxDOT Highway Letting is emailed to all members and posted to the TXAPA website on the 25th day of the month. If you did not recieve this month's letting information, click the link below. TXAPA will continue to move the needle for quality in the coming decade by promoting a new concept in asphalt paving communication, a gathering of key personnel just prior to placement and compaction called the “All-Hands.” Chuck Fuller has discussed the All-Hands on TXAPA Live, and the All-Hands section of our website is packed with helpful resources and information.
