TxDOT April 2013 Tonnage

The TxDOT highway letting is scheduled for April 3rd - 4th. The total tonnage of asphalt pavements being let is 804,213.

We will be offering one more Specification Update Conference on April 18, 2013 at the Fort Worth district office. These new Special Specifications will replace Items 340, 341, 342, 344 and 346 and are scheduled to go into effect March of 2013. The conference will provide a very good opportunity for sharing information on the latest developments

TXAPA is looking forward to our 6th Annual 2013 Mid Year Meeting! This year we are headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming in the Grand Teton Mountains. The meeting dates are June 17-19, 2013.

The Associate Member Advisory Committee chaired by J.B. Closner, Closner Equipment Company, recently met in San Antonio during the World of Asphalt. The committee developed plans for their activities during the Mid-Year Meeting and established preliminary criteria for member showcase opportunities during TXAPA’s Annual Meeting in September.
