Tullahoma Utilities Authority (Tullahoma, TN) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Electric Engineering Supervisor or Electric Engineer. This position will be responsible for a wide range of activities and key functions for the Tullahoma Utilities Authority. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Engineering and system planning
• Program administration
• Technology support
Preferred Requirements for Consideration:
• Completed or close to completion of four year degree in electrical or computer engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures. Ability to speak English effectively before groups of customers or employees of this organization.
• 5+ years work experience in the utility industry or related field.
• Professional Engineering license or the ability to obtain one in the state of Tennessee.
• Advanced computer skills, including ability to program and maintain database software.
• Working knowledge of National Electric Safety Code and National Electric Code
• Experience working with GIS and facilities management software
• Ability to obtain and maintain valid Tennessee driver’s license
