Caddo Creek Resources Company a Good Neighbor


Caddo Creek Resources Company looks for opportunities to be a good neighbor to the surrounding area, while we operate the Marshall Mine. One of our neighbors is the Sabine Farms Educational Society. This group maintains the historic Sabine Farms Community Center that was originally built in 1936 and dedicated as an official Texas Historical Site in 2010.

Our Environmental Specialist, Brad Griffin, was driving past their center one day and noticed a fellow out there, in the heat, mowing the several-acre property with a push mower! Since then, we have helped them out with their grounds maintenance by keeping their property mowed and trimmed.

They invite us to their special commemorative celebrations every year, have presented Brad with a beautiful plaque thanking Caddo Creek Resources, and gift us with delicious homemade pies each fall to show their appreciation.
