In the early part of 2020, our lives changed dramatically. The change was felt by healthcare workers (HCW) both professional and personally. Some can you tell you they felt “it” barreling towards our hospitals like a tornado that could not be stopped. HCWs and their leaders braced for the impact.

TONL Members were recently named as Fellows by the American Academy of Nursing. Nelson Tuazon, DNP, DBA, RN, NEA-BC, CENP, CPHQ, CPPS, FNAP, FACHE is with the University Health System and Lisa Campbell, DNP, RN, PHNA-BC is with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Inductees will be recognized for their significant contributions to health and health care at the Academy’s annual Transforming Health, Driving Policy Conference, taking place virtually October 29-31, 2020. The full Press Release from the American Academy of Nursing can be located here.
