TIA Minnesota Seminar Report – Part I
Presented by Brent Wm. Primus
By way of introduction, Brent Wm. Primus is an attorney practicing in the area of transportation and supply chain matters. In 2006 he succeeded his colleague and mentor, William Augello, as the presenter of the “Transportation, Logistics and the Law for 3PL’s” course. Since then, he has presented the course in conjunction with the TIA Annual Conference or at a stand-alone Regional seminar more than 20 times.
Registration is now open for this year’s Minnesota seminar on August 2-3, 2018 At last summer’s seminar there were 32 attendees --- with representatives from brokers, shippers, carriers, and factors. At the end of the second day the attendees were asked what they learned that they could use in their jobs in the next 30 days. The responses included matters relating to contracts, terms and conditions, vicarious liability, cargo claims, and FSMA.
In the next few issues of Logistics Weekly we will write further about these topics…both to inform you…and to entice you to attend this year’s seminar.
Stay tuned.
