Hurricane Michael and Logistics Assistance Requests

TIA is proud to continue to partner with the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) as Florida continues to recover from Hurricane Michael. ALAN has received the following requests for assistance:

• Case 1310 – Food Bank needs semi tractor; single axle or twin axle. A pup reefer trailer; 32 or 36 ft. Tallahassee, FL
• Case 1311 – Food Bank needs an electric forklift or reach truck of any mast height work. Tallahassee, FL
• Case 1316 – Warehouse space, Tallahassee
  60K sq. ft. of space needed in Tallahassee, at least 2 dock high doors and adequate parking
• Master Case: Food Bank in Florida Panhandle 1318:

-Case 1319: 4 mobile pantry trucks (with side panels for easy food distribution at mobile sites). Ideally, all should have refrigerator units.
-Case 1320: 2 electric forklifts, with two chargers. Each charger should be compatible with both forklifts. (Please no diesel or liquid propane forklifts.)
-Case 1321: 2 Big Joe electric pallet jacks
-Case 1322: 1 tractor
-Case 1323: 1 trailer w/ lift gate (53’, 48’ or 36’ pup is fine) — can be a dry van (i.e., with no reefer unit) if it means that we’d receive it quicker
-Case 1324: 1 CDL box truck w/ lift gate — can be a dry van (i.e., with no reefer unit) if it means that we’d receive it quicker

• Case 1326: Organization needs file/bankers boxes for records as well as boxes for storage. Panama City, FL
• Case 1328 – Non-profit looking for Containers to store donations, Blountstown, FL
  In need of 5 Pods, Shipping Containers, or Trailers ASAP that can be left on site for roughly 3 weeks.
• Case 1330 – Non-profit looking for Forklifts, Tallahassee, FL
• Case 1331 – Non-profit looking for Manual Pallet Jacks, Tallahassee, FL
• Case 1332 – Non-profit looking for Pallet Pullers, Tallahassee, FL
• Case 1334 – Non-profit looking for Box Trucks, SW Georgia
• Case 1336 – Transportation Rocky Point, NC to Panama City, FL
  Non-profit looking to move a 40′ shipping container with 5th wheel hitch from Rocky Point NC to Panama City, FL
• Case 1337 – Non-profit looking for a Forklift. Panama City, FL
• Case 1338 – Non-profit looking for a 24′ Refrigerated Box Truck with Lift Gate. Panama City, FL
