Estes Express Lines is making a multi-million-dollar investment in its most valuable asset—its employees—through the implementation of The Estes Care Package.The program consists of four different employee-focused programs that are being implemented 2018. On March 3, 2018, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announced additional steps to address the unique needs of the country’s agriculture industries and provided further guidance to assist in the effective implementation of the congressionally mandated electronic logging device (ELD) rule without impeding commerce or safety.

U.S. Reps. Peter King (R-NY), Sanford Bishop (D-GA) and Hank Johnson (D-GA) are leading the charge on a technical change in the bankruptcy laws to provide relief for customs brokers who have paid duties to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on behalf of importers who subsequently file for bankruptcy.
