The House Democrats have proposed stop gap legislation to fund certain government agencies through December 11, 2020, to thwart a Government shutdown. The proposed resolution known as a Continuing Resolution (CR) would keep Government agencies funded until after the elections, giving Congress more time to work out a bi-partisan agreement. Education
