Texas LODD Task Force Year in Review

The Texas LODD Task Force thanks TFCA for its support and has compiled this 2022 Year in Review to illustrate everything accomplished in 2022:
- Taught seven classes
- Presented at three conferences
- Filed 49 benefits claims (Cancer, COVID, Traumatic)
- Held one family meet & greet
- Taught I Honor Guard Training Program and assisted with Taylor Honor
- Guard Academy
- Provided Information to and consulted with over 350 agencies, first
- responders, and families
- Responded to and assisted with eight fatalities, including LODD & suicide
- Provided command support to Uvalde mass shooting incident
- Assisted the Texas HHS Disaster Behavioral Health Services with setting
- up a response group for first responder mental health
- Participated in the Dallas 9/11 Stair Climb
