Batch Applications for Departments

Fire departments now have the ability to submit "batch" applications, and to pay just one invoice for scheduling trainees to take the basic Structure exam online. For questions or assistance with applications, please contact testing@tcfp.texas.gov.

How To Test for the New Fire Marshal Certification

The “special temporary provision” (which will allow you to take the state certification exam without first having to take an approved course) begins next month. For important dates and details about the process, see the July 19 update on the TCFP website.

August and September Regional Meetings

Dates and locations for the upcoming regional meetings are as follows: 

• Aug. 15 - Beaumont
• Aug. 16 - Sugar Land
• Aug. 17 - College Station
• Aug. 29 - San Angelo
• Sept. 6 - Lubbock
