Voting has opened for the 2024 TFCA officer positions. The Election Committee Chair must receive all completed ballots before midnight, Sept. 30. Votes will be counted the first week of October and presented to the board for canvass. Cast your department’s ballot here:

The First Responder Mental Health and Wellness Conference will take place Oct. 5-6 at the Norris Conference Center in San Antonio, TX. This two-day multifaceted training and networking event is for all First Responders, Police, Fire, EMS, Dispatchers, Military/Veterans, Corrections, Coroners, Chaplains, Retired First Responders, Spouses, Professional staff, Clinicians, and all those who work in or around the Public Safety field. 1st Responder Conferences is committed to the emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of public safety professionals and works with leaders in the public safety professions to make this possible. Last week, Sunnyvale Fire Department Chief Kendrick was celebrated at his retirement. Chief Kendrick has 46 years of combined service, hard work, and dedication to various municipalities throughout North Texas with the last seven with the Town of Sunnyvale. It was evident by the attendance, with multiple fire departments represented, that Chief Kendrick was a well-respected public servant. Sunnyvale wishes Chief Kendrick all the best in his future endeavors; the Town of Sunnyvale is proud of the things you accomplished in your time there. TCFP UPDATES
