1. HB 636, relating to the continuation and functions of the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.
a. To date, there are no other bills filed concerning regulation.
2. HB 738, relating to the residential building codes of municipalities.
3. HB 871, relating to the municipal fees charged to certain air conditioning and refrigeration contractors.
a. This is a refile from last session of HB 4249 by Rep. Kuempel. PHCC Texas supported the bill last session per TACCA’s request. The bill analysis from last session can be found here.
