Joe Browning was in the business of buying and selling cars. In 2013, when he had difficulty getting the title to a vehicle he purchased in Louisiana, Browning hired a local law firm to help. He had no idea at the time that the law firm would ultimately sue him over an online review he posted about the company.
An Aging Workforce – Is 60 the New 40?
  
According to Inc. Magazine, more than 76,000,000 Americans will soon reach the age of 60 or older, and many plan to continue working. In many cases out of necessity. The relaxing retirement that so many dreamed of has become unaffordable on the limited income from today’s pensions or recession-impacted 401K plans. It is estimated that for an employee to be able to retire comfortably by the age of 67, they should have ten times their annual earnings in retirement funds.
HR Question of the Month
  
One of our current employees is a lawful permanent resident and her permanent resident card expires on 2/22/2018 according to the I-9 that she completed when she was hired. My question is whether we, as her employer, can send her a reminder of this upcoming expiration date?
Rule making for this new *optional* certification along with other changes in the HVACR rules requires your input!
  
The new certification requirements include completion in the preceding 48 months of a certification training program consisting of at least 2,000 hours of a combination of classroom instruction and practical experience in ACR-related work, under the supervision of a licensed ACR contractor; OR 24 consecutive months of ACR-related work (1) under the supervision of a licensed ACR contractor, or (2) as part of the technician’s military service.

My husband and I recently went to do "early voting" in our county.
