Philadelphia Metropolitan Opera House, a historic building included on the National Register of Historic Places, began a massive $45 million renovation in 2017 and Viega ProPress was used. Because it was an old building, mechanical contractor Devine Brothers didn’t want to use torches and worry about soldering or fire watch.

Effective September 1st, 2017, TSBPE rules changed to allow completion of annual continuing education requirements via correspondence course (mail), no matter where the licensee resides. This modified the previous rules which only allowed plumbers out of state or living in rural counties to complete their annual CE via correspondence.
