Governor Greg Abbott has appointed James “Ron” Ainsworth, William “Bill” Klock, and Mark Savasta to the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners for terms set to expire on September 5, 2023. Additionally, the Governor appointed Frank Denton, who was named chair of the board, Calvin “Chip” Dence, and T. “Justin” MacDonald for terms set to expire on September 5, 2025. The board licenses master plumbers, journeymen, plumbers, and plumbing inspectors.

8-Hr Residential Plbg Code (IRC) is required by the Texas State Plumbing Board for those planning on taking the Tradesman or Journeyman's license exam (Section 363.12). PHCC Texas is a state authorized provider of this training and issues the necessary certificate for scheduling the exam with TSBPE.

The contents of this weekend training class will prepare you to take both the Journeyman or the Tradesman examination. It is a one day test prep that focuses strictly on passing the test. The model Plumbing House will be used for hands-on training.
