Ingrao, CCP, CAE, has been selected as its new chief executive officer (CEO). PHCC CEO Michael Copp will retire from PHCC in December 2021, and Ingrao officially assumes duties as CEO on Oct. 22 during PHCC’s Annual Business Meeting at PHCCCONNECT2021 in Kansas City, Missouri.

On April 28, 2021, in his first Presidential address to Congress, President Biden announced his American Families Plan. President Biden intended it as a follow up to the American Rescue Plan, which provided relief to families and communities impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. Among the elements in the plan is one calling for a paid family and medical leave program.

Pursuant to House Bill 636, all applicants and licensees will soon be required to submit a copy of their fingerprints so that the TSBPE can conduct a criminal history check. That means all plumbers in the state of Texas, regardless of license type, will be required to have their fingerprints on file with the TSBPE.

This course is designed to help Plumbing Contractors fulfill their continuing education requirements with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. This course fulfills the TSBPE 6 Hr Cont Ed requirement for 2021-2022 (registrations and licenses expiring Sept 30, 2021-Aug 31, 2022).

The 40 hr. tester certification course provides the training and information necessary to become licensed to test and maintain backflow prevention assemblies. This course is approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) with the practical skills portion of the exam provided as part of the course. The practical skills portion of the exam is given the last day of class with the written exam provided at a TCEQ regional office or computer-based testing facility after course completion.

The contents of this weekend training class will prepare you to take both the Journeyman or the Tradesman examination. It is a one day test prep that focuses strictly on passing the test. The model Plumbing House will be used for hands-on training.
