PHCC Texas Legislative Update

With the May 27th end date fast approaching, we are working tirelessly to keep up with and respond to all the legislation that may be affecting the plumbing and hvac industry.

The most preeminent piece is of course HB 1670/SB 621. These two bills were what came from the Sunset Commission recommendations to move the oversight of the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners over to the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation.

Backflow 40hr Certification Course Austin/Buda: 6/6/19 - 6/9/19

The 40 hr. tester certification course provides the training and information necessary to become licensed to test and maintain backflow prevention assemblies. This course is approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) with the practical skills portion of the exam provided as part of the course.

ONE Day Journeyman/Tradesman Test Prep Buda: 5/18/19
